They’re back

Idea: the Jims free the Distict attourney, they are now a being of light despite being trapped in the dark for so long.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t angry however.

Dark never paid much attention to the Jims. They ran around, calling everyone ‘Jim’ and doing their little news segments. They could, however, get rather irritating. He heard two of them shout talking at each other about something two of their brothers had done.

“Mirror Jim is free!” One said, “Jim made sure of that!”

“Of course, Jim did. Jim could not just leave them there! Our mother, Jim, would not have liked that! We were raised to be polite!” The other said.

“Mirror Jim?” Dark repeated, blinking. The two within him reacted as well. The red and blue clashed as they glowed brighter. It couldn’t be them? The one they had left so long ago. Left with a promise that things would be ok, but it wasn’t. It wasn’t ok. Damien was screaming. Celine was thinking.

Dark shook his head, taking a breath to calm himself. Letting his shell fix itself. The colors were in check for now. “Jim.” He said, “What have your brothers found? Where is this… Mirror Jim?”

Damien was hoping it was them. Hoping they could help.

Celine was hoping it wasn’t. They had broken their promise that it would be ok. They did not want to know the anger that they would hold.

“At a place where there was a big Jim Scoop! A murder! There were demons!” One Jim said.

“Yes! Our elder Jims had found it. They recorded interactions with Demons! Our brother and his brother Jim went back there to find out more. They told us they found a Mirror Jim! The Mirror Jim told them… things.” The other Jim said.

Dark gripped the top of his cane. “What kind of things, Jim?”

Before the Jims could answer, a new voice rang out. One that made the two souls within Dark cry out. One in relief and the other in panic. “How to let me out for one thing.”

Dark whirled around, his shell cracking somewhat. It was them. Oh god they looked like they hadn’t aged a day. They looked just like they did when they were left in that mirror. Except… While Dark had an aura of darkness around him, they had one of.. Light…

“ (y/n) I-!” Dark had no time to even get a word out as They stalked right over to him and punched him hard enough to knock him to the floor.

The Jims jumped back. They had never seen Dark fall like that before.

Dark rubbed jaw as he looked up at (y/n) from his spot on the floor. No one should had been strong enough to even make him wince in pain like that. Only if they…. “Such strong light magic, (y/n).”

The glare (y/n) was giving him made Damien weep. “Stay the hell away from me, Damien. Understand? Wait. You’re not even Damien. They called you, Dark-Jim.” They shook their head with a huff, “Just. Stay away from me. I had them bring me here, so I could give you that and this warning.” They knelt down, grabbing Dark’s tie, pulling his face close to theirs. “If you do.. I will rip you apart.” And they dropped him back to the floor, turning on their heel and storming out. Two of the Jims following them.

“Mirror Jim! Wait! I, Jim, would like an interview!”

The red was overtaking Dark’s shell.

Damien wept.
